we're here to talk about regenerative
agriculture so we've got around 100
Farmers here to learn about regenerative
agriculture in all its different aspects
we've learning about cover cropping
machines how to integrate livestock and
then obviously how to monetize that
income at the end which is really
exciting we started uh the transition
from sort of Full Tilt to no till about
13 years ago and we found as a virtuous
circle the less money we spend the more
money we make um our yields are going up
our costs are going down we feel that we
we shouldn't be in isolation with those
ideas and Concepts it's such an easy
thing to put into practice Farmers have
to be a bit Brave um but through a few
small steps uh it's amazing what
difference can be made I think when you
get to see things on the ground
practically and ask the the solution
providers the questions firsthand from
from an education perspective I don't
think you can beat that it's not until
you get people out of offices out of
home environments out of their comfort
zone onto a farm till they can see what
good practice looks like I think it's
really important that farmers attend
events like this just to you know expand
their Horizons and improve their
learning you know it's very useful when
you hear people who are you know similar
situation to you say oh no we did that
and it worked really well it's really
we're all inspired by seeing our peers
do something and learning from them so
days like today going on to farm looking
and seeing inside somebody else's
farming business what they've tried how
it's worked that's the thing that gives
them real confidence go I can relate to
that this is real this is practical I
can see where the problems have been how
they've overcome them yeah now I've got
the confidence the biggest benefit of
regen a is you are future proofing your
entire Farm that's the biggest benefit
is knowing that they will have a
business in 5 years they will have a
business in 10 and I'll have a business
to pass on to Future Generations as well
